Admit you have sinned. (Romans 3:23)

When we admit that we have sinned we are admitting that we are an imperfect person who needs help. More than just needing help in this life, we need someone to do everything for us in our spiritual life. Thankfully, God sent Jesus Christ to do for us what we couldn't do for ourselves.

Believe in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior (John 3:16-17, Mark 1:15, Ephesians 2:8-9)

When we believe in Jesus as our Lord and Savior we are saying that what Christ has done for us was everything that we need for Salvation. We have to believe in the one who is able to do the thing for us that we could never do for ourselves.

Confess Jesus as your Lord and Savior (Romans 10:9-10)

Confessing Jesus as our Lord and Savior means that we not only accept the gift of salvation, but we give our entire lives and our whole heart to the Lord for the purpose that he has for us!
